Customer Account Management
The Customer Accounts function is available for you to browse, edit and delete customer accounts. Customer accounts are set up by your users in the store to help save their data online for future shopping sessions.
The Customer Account pages within the site allow customers to set up new accounts, edit existing accounts, and retrieve their passwords via email. As an administrator, you have the option using the Global Settings | Manage Store Settings function to require customer account logins at checkout. Other options are available too, like displaying a link for logins, but not requiring them, or not showing the customer account login at all.
